This site has been designed and is maintained for the Steel Valley Marching Band which is comprised of students  from the communities of Munhall, Homestead and West Homestead.  The purpose of this site is to provide information about the band's activities, accomplishments and to provide a large display of photos (memories) of former and current band members for everyone to enjoy.  All the band members, both past and present, staff and parents deserve recognition for the enormous amounts of time, effort and sweat they have all put in to make this group of young musicians a quality competition band. 

This site is family maintained using Microsoft Frontpage 2003 and is hosted using Lunarpages.com, consisting of 3 gigabytes of web space and a 100 gigabytes bandwidth pre month.  Imaging work currently is being done with a combination of a Canon scanner, Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Picture It, Microsoft Photo Editor and with Canon and Nikon digital cameras.  For absolute accuracy in counting visitors to this website, our hit counter will NOT increment each time the page is refreshed.  Many web pages use counters which increment EVERY time the page is refreshed which gives that page an inaccurate high count.   Since the inception of this site on Sept. 2, 2002 it has been visited over 20,000 times.

This site is and has always been privately developed, maintained and hosted. The domain name has been registered to the Steel Valley Marching Band Backers Inc. No endorsements of any kind are given or implied. The contents of this site may not reflect the opinions of the Steel Valley School District, students, staff, administration, or board. All opinions stated within the site are strictly those of the webmasters and should be considered strictly those of the webmasters unless otherwise indicated. Information on this site is as accurate to the best of our knowledge, but reports of any problems or inaccuracies are appreciated and will be addressed promptly.

The webmasters are independent agents providing the time, resources and materials for providing this site as a tribute and service to the Steel Valley Marching Band and to the public.  We are not representatives, contractors or agents of the Steel Valley School District and we are not band staff members, nor do we represent ourselves as such.
